L’Arche Tahoma Hope is a nonprofit organization located in the South Puget Sound region of WA state. We are a person-centered and relationship-focused organization that works with people with and without intellectual disabilities. We aim to create a culture and society where we celebrate the vulnerabilities of what it means to be human and integrate inclusive practices for people of all abilities. We share life in our 3 group homes, in our Farm and Gardens program, and in our Welcome Center programs.
Job Brief:
Guided by the Mission and Charter of L’Arche, the House Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the management of the home and nurturing the growth and direction of its members. While fostering an attitude of shared leadership, the House Coordinator acts as the primary reference person within the home with regard to core member care, supervision of staff, adherence to state guidelines, and ongoing home life.
Key qualities:
- Verbal and written fluency in english
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and with compassion
- Two years’ work experience with people with intellectual disabilities
- Relevant Leadership Experience
- Commitment to L’Arche mission and manner of sharing life with core members
- Competency Microsoft Office software, Google Drive, and Email applications
Wage:
$24.00-$28.00/hour
